Description
Crews battled a heavy fire for nearly 4 hours on Indianapolis' east side Saturday night.
The fire was reported just after 11 p.m. on Feb. 1 in the 6300 block of East Washington Street, near North Kenmore Road and North Sheridan Avenue. This is the former site of the Marsh Grocery Store.
IFD said their firefighters had their work "cut out for them" as there was fire and smoke pushing from three sides of the building.
