Description
The Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission is accusing Attorney General Todd Rokita of professional misconduct over statements he made about a public reprimand he received in 2023.
Rokita was publicly reprimanded for comments he made about Dr. Caitlin Bernard, who provided an abortion for a 10-year-old rape victim from Ohio.
That public reprimand was issued after Rokita entered into a conditional agreement for discipline. In that agreement, Rokita received credit for "accepting responsibility for his misconduct" and agreeing "if this proceeding were prosecuted, (he) could not successfully defend (himself)."
