Description
"Political thriller, unlike any you've seen before, with a little sprinkle of sci-fi, deep human connection and much intrigue."
That's Emmy winner Julianne Nicholson's ("Mare of Easttown," "August: Osage County") spoiler-free description of "Paradise," co-starring Emmy winner Sterling K. Brown ("This Is Us," "American Fiction") and Emmy nominee James Marsden ("Jury Duty," "Hairspray").
The eight-episode first season from Dan Fogelman ("This Is Us") follows a Secret Service Agent Xavier Collins (Brown) trying to figure out who murdered President Cal Bradford (Marsden) — along with a major twist unveiled at the end of the first episode.
Other Secret Services agents working alongside Brown's character are Billy Pace (Jon Beavers), Jane Driscoll (Nicole Brydon Bloom) and Nicole Robinson (Krys Marshall).
Sarah Shahi ("Sex/Life," "Person of Interest") plays psychiatrist Gabriela Torabi, who is tasked with interrogating the Secret Service agents to find out who, if any, are connected to the president's death.
New episodes of "Paradise" are released Tuesdays through March 4 on Hulu.
