January 2025 was one of the coldest January's in several years across much of the central and southern U.S., plus it brought historic snows. We think there are several cold days ahead in February, interrupted by more warm days too. Increased severe weather and wintry mixes are possible across the Midwest. Higher precipitation chances are likely for the Great Lakes, including Indiana.
