An Indianapolis woman is behind bars after being arrested for neglect of a dependent resulting in death of a dependent Saturday afternoon. According to a public police report from IMPD, around 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 25, IMPD responded to the 6300 block of Newberry Road, near Shadeland Avenue and Fall Creek Road, on a report of a death investigation. The report states police were investigating the death of a 2-year-old girl. A 33-year-old woman was reportedly arrested for child neglect resulting in death.
