One person died in a house fire in Kokomo late Friday night. The fire was reported just after 11 p.m. on Jan. 17 in the 1100 block of North Armstrong Street, near West Elm Street and North Washington Street. Responding firefighters found heavy fire coming from the front of the home, and reports indicated that the house was still occupied, the Kokomo Fire Department said in a post on social media.
