Description
The city of Indianapolis is opening an overnight warming center as temperatures drop below zero in the city.
The Washington Park Family Center at 3130 E. 30th St. will be open through Thursday, Jan. 16. It will be open Tuesday and Wednesday night for those looking to get out of the cold.
The hours for the family center will be extended from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m., and no sign-in or check-in is required, the city said.
If you need resources and warm shelter, call the Mayor's Action Center at 317-327-4622 or dial 211. Information is also available on the Indy Cares app and at findhelp.org.
