As a reinforcing shot of cold air pushes south into Indiana, a cold front may be able to squeeze out some snow showers on Tuesday with light accumulation. This will be a very dry snow, likely arriving mid-morning and lasting into the early afternoon. Because of the very cold air with wind chills below zero all day, this will be a dusty snow. With less water in the atmosphere you can produce more snow. This is will be a high liquid to snow ratio. That means even though this isn't a big system, there's a decent chance we get a dusting or half inch of snow in spots across much of central Indiana. It will stick to preexisting snow.
