A homicide investigation is underway on Indy's south side after a female was found dead Saturday morning. IMPD was called to the Laurelwood apartment complex, located at 1400 block of Salisbury Lane near Shelby Street and East Sumner Avenue, on a report of a person down just after 11 a.m. on Jan. 11. When officers arrived, they found a female outside in the snow with gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
