Description
Fifth grader Hudson Sadek and his siblings found the perfect hill at Brookside Park to spend their snowy Monday, Jan. 6.
"One, it's pretty steep," Hudson said, "and two, it's far."
It was the Sadeks' last day of winter break. Their school, covered in snow, sits right across the street. Classes are set to resume Tuesday, Jan. 7.
In some districts, like the MSD of Lawrence Township, nostalgic snow days are officially a thing of the past.
"Those days are gone," Lawrence Township Director of Communications Dana Altemeyer said.
All Lawrence Township students have take-home devices and connectivity support, according to Altemeyer. That allows virtual learning to continue, even on snow days.
