Description
IMPD arrested a man after a woman was found dead in an apartment with evidence of blunt force trauma on Indy's south side.
Police responded to the 7800 block of Ella Dobbs Lane on a report of a death investigation, near Madison Avenue and East Stop 11 Road, just before 6 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 30.
When police arrived on the scene, they found a woman inside with blunt force trauma injuries. She was pronounced dead by medics just moments later.
With the assistance of several community members, IMPD said detectives were able to quickly identify the suspect as a 22-year-old man.
