Description
Dozens gathered at The Amp at 16 Tech in downtown Indianapolis on Thursday, Dec. 26 to recognize the first day of Kwanzaa, a nationally recognized celebration of African-American history and heritage.
And they started with this greeting: "Habari Gani," which means what's the news?
Since the 1970s, the Indianapolis Kwanzaa Committee has hosted a Kwanzaa celebration featuring singing, dancing, food, spoken word, art and educational workshops.
