A suspect was arrested after a "shootout" that injured three people in Marion over the weekend, police said. Around 9:15 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, Marion Police Department officers responded to a report of shots fired into a home in the 1700 block of August Walk, which is also listed as West Fall Drive, near West Kem Road and North Lincolnshire Boulevard. Officers found that a sliding door of an apartment had been struck by bullets. No one was shot, but there were "several adults and children including two infants" in the apartment at the time of the incident, Marion PD said in a statement. Three cars in the parking lot were also struck by gunfire. Police identified a suspect car, which was stopped by an officer near West Marion and North Park avenues.
