One person was killed and another wounded in a shooting at an assisted living facility on the east side of Indianapolis. The shooting happened around 7:15 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25 at Rosewalk Assisted Living in the 1300 block of North Ritter Avenue, near Community Hospital East. According to an IMPD spokesperson, a female employee of the facility let her boyfriend into the building. Some time later, the boyfriend and an employee of the facility became engaged in some sort of disturbance in the kitchen. During the incident, shots were fired, critically injuring one of the men. That victim, an adult male, was taken to Methodist Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
