Description
With just a few days until Thanksgiving, several outreach groups and local organizations are getting out to help by filling trunks with full holiday meals.
"Turkey, Cornish hen, chicken and honey baked ham, all of the things you need to make a Thanksgiving holiday meal," Pastor Kenneth Sullivan Jr. said.
One of those distributions is with New Direction Church on the northeast side of Indianapolis. It started as a small event ten years ago, but has gotten bigger every year.
"For a long time, this has been considered a food desert or zone of insecurity so we understand the importance of rising to the cause to meet the need," Pastor Sullivan said.
