Description
Hoosiers have been enjoying a fairly mild fall season so far, but that streak is about to end.
As the first snow comes blowing in, the Indianapolis Department of Public Works is deploying crews to treat the roads starting at 11 p.m. Wednesday and throughout the day Thursday.
"I'm prepped," Elizabeth Darrough said.
I'm not prepped," Olivia Williams said.
Darrough and Williams were doing some holiday shopping at Sullivan Hardware and Garden Wednesday, Nov. 20. They may be opposites when it comes to preparation for the incoming snow, cold and wind, but they did agree on one thing.
"I think it's a beautiful time of year. I think it makes it feel like the holidays are here, which is great since it's been 70 (degrees)," Williams said.
