A Carmel home had an unwelcome visitor Sunday after a pickup truck crashed into one of its walls. According to a social media post from the Westfield Fire Department, Westfield firefighters were called to help the Carmel Fire Department after a truck crashed into the side of a house. Westfield Fire Department's structural collapse team arrived and built two support columns to help shore up the building and stabilize any compromised structures, allowing the homeowner to remain safely inside.
