Description
A 15-year-old Lebanon boy is now recovering after a driver hit him with their car earlier this week.
It was Tuesday night when Michael Kellogg was heading back home from the gym on his bike when he was hit from behind, but the suspects didn't just leave him on the road.
"He had drove me home. And I guess I came in my back door and was, you know, screaming with my mom and at my mom and stuff, and telling her I just got hit by a truck and that they were outside. And she ran outside, and they weren't there," Michael said.
A parent drove Michael to the hospital, but his memory is fuzzy.
"The last thing I remember before getting hit is I had turned around because there's a car behind me on the road. I looked at it, and then I turned back around, " Michael said.
The crash happened on Camp Street, near State Road 39, in Lebanon on Nov. 5. Police are investigating the incident but don't have any suspects at this time.
