Description
An investigation is underway after a bus crashed into a building in Union City Wednesday morning.
The Unity City Police Department is asking the public to avoid the intersection of West Hickory and Jackson streets on Nov. 6 due to the crash involving a bus from the Randolph County Eastern School Corporation.
Neal Adams, the school district's superintendent, confirmed 21 students and one driver were on the bus at the time of the crash. Adams said two students and the driver were taken to the hospital. The rest of the students were taken to school or released to their parents.
Police have not shared information as to what led up to the crash.
