Starbucks says it's cutting back on promotional deals through its mobile app in order to get customers to pay full price for their drinks.
This new move is part of the new CEO's strategy to reposition Starbucks as a premium brand.
It's also expected to reduce the strain on employees, who can get flooded with work when promotions get advertised.
Starbucks says there won't be any broad holiday offering this season.
