Description

An Indiana State Police trooper is expected to survive after being hit by a vehicle on Interstate 465 early Saturday morning. ISP Trooper Cameron Bottema told 13News that the trooper was responding to a different crash on I-465 eastbound, near US-31 and South East Street, when a vehicle hit the trooper's car at just after 3 a.m. The trooper was standing outside of his police vehicle at the time. Bottema said the crash led to the trooper getting hit by his own vehicle.
