IMPD confirmed an officer-involved shooting happened on the north side of Indianapolis Wednesday morning. The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. Sept. 11 in the 7800 block of River Road, near North Keystone Avenue and East 79th Street in the Clearwater neighborhood. Police were called to check on a person, where officers found a disturbance in a building. Police shot a man, who is in an Indianapolis hospital in stable condition. Police did not explain what led up to the shooting, but a gun was recovered at the scene.
