IMPD is investigating after officers found a person fatally shot on the near north side of Indianapolis Sunday morning. Police responded to the 3000 block of Boulevard Place, near West 30th Street and North Capitol Avenue, just before 8 a.m. July 28 on a report of a person down. When officers arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot. He was pronounced dead moments later when medics arrived.
