A 17-year-old Toy Poodle was found safe Saturday morning, five days after she was stolen in a vehicle theft, according to the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office. Fannie Mae, the missing dog, was returned to her owner after a Good Samaritan recognized her from a flyer and contacted authorities, Sheriff James Pohlmann said in a statement. Capt. Ryan Melerine and Fannie Mae’s owner met this morning with the individual, who wishes to remain anonymous.
