Description

An investigation is underway after a deadly shooting on Indianapolis' west side Saturday morning. According to IMPD, just before 4 a.m. July 12, officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 5100 block of West 38th Street, near Interstate 465 and Lafayette Road. When officers arrived, they found two people who had been shot. IMPD confirmed one of the victims was pronounced dead at a local hospital, and the other victim is in critical condition.
