A man is dead and a woman is critically injured after a shooting on Indianapolis' near east side Sunday morning. According to IMPD, just before 7 a.m. July 13, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 500 block of North Parker Avenue, near East Michigan Street and North Rural Street. When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman shot. Police said both victims were taken to local hospitals in critical condition where the man later died.
