Howard County's Northwestern School Corporation is facing a lawsuit from a family who says their son was sexually assaulted at school. The suit alleges the 15-year-old boy was sexually assaulted 20 times at Northwestern High School, happening during band class. "Their son was sexually assaulted repeatedly at school, and in addition to the sexual assaults, which were so severe that the child is now residentially placed, he was also exposed to a curriculum that I think most parents would find utterly and completely shocking, including books about school shootings and children who were abused," said attorney Catherine Michael.
