Crews in the Esparto and Madison area in California are responding to a fire at a fireworks warehouse Tuesday. The Yolo County Sheriff's Office said the explosion happened near County Road 23 and County Road 86A. Deputies said a warehouse storing fireworks exploded, sparking a fire. It was reported just before 6 p.m. Fire officials said crews arrived to find a few commercial buildings well involved along with numerous spot fires and explosions. They were able to contain the spot fires, and crews are maintaining a safe perimeter. Including all spot fires, about 80 acres in total were burned.
