Two men were arrested after a three people were shot, two fatally, on Indianapolis' northeast side Saturday morning, followed by a police chase. Around 9 a.m. June 28, IMPD officers in the area of East 42nd Street and North Mitthoefer Road heard shots fired and saw two men attempting to flee in a car. At the same time, police received a report of a person shot nearby in the 10000 block of East 42nd Street. Officers responding to that scene found two men and a woman who had been shot. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other man was pronounced dead at a local hospital, police said. The woman's condition was described by police as "stable."
