Description
Police in Jackson County are investigating after a woman and young child died after being struck by a farm tractor Monday evening.
The incident was reported around 7:40 p.m. June 23 in Redding Township, which is north/northeast of Seymour. The sheriff's department did not provide a more specific location for the incident.
First responders found a 68-year-old woman and 4-year-old boy had been struck by the tractor. The child was taken to Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, were he was pronounced dead.
