Description
A Kokomo woman, who was previously sentenced to 30 months in prison in 2021 for crushing animals, recently had a dozen animals confiscated that she was keeping in a U-Haul, according to a police report from Indianapolis Animal Care Services (IACS).
The report from IACS says officials were called to a U-Haul parked in the 900 block of East Washington Street, near Interstate 70 and Southeastern Avenue on the city's near east side, on Saturday, June 21 that had a total of 12 animals – a mix of dogs and cats – inside.
According to the report, the van belonged to Krystal Scott and two other people.
