The Fishers Police Department says it is investigating a shooting that happened Saturday afternoon. According to a release from Fishers Police Department, around 3:45 p.m. on June 21, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 9300 block of Benton Drive, which is an apartment complex near State Road 37. Very little information has been released, but police say the shooting does not appear to have been a random act. FPD did not say who, if anyone, was hurt or the extent of any injuries. They also did not indicate whether or not anyone has been detained or if there are any suspects at this time.
