An Avon man was arrested for boating while intoxicated after a Mooresville man drowned in Monroe Lake Wednesday. The incident was reported on the lake, southeast of Bloomington, shortly after 4:30 p.m. June 11. Conservation officers were called to an area near Allen's Creek for a report that a person fell from an inner tube while being pulled by a boat and did not resurface.
