A 50-year-old man was arrested for lewd and lascivious battery after coordinating travel for two teens from Daytona, according to police. Bruce Higgins was under investigation leading detectives with the Pinellas Park Police Department to search his apartment on Grand Avenue Tuesday. The two teens were 16 and 17, and police said he arranged transportation through the use of a rideshare service for them to go to Pinellas Park. Higgins was arrested and charged with multiple sexual offenses and drug charges including two counts of indecent, lewd or lascivious touching of certain minors and trafficking methamphetamine, according to a news release.
