An Indianapolis man is on trial for a triple murder outside an apartment complex in Lawrence last year. The prosecution presented evidence for what it calls a "set-up" execution of 27-year-old Spencer Lawson. Malik Shaw, 25, is charged with shooting and killing three people in a parking lot at the Jamestowne Apartment Community in the early evening of April 12, 2024. Nineteen-year-old Aaliyah Wortman, and her 19-year-old cousin, Londyn Coleman, were with Lawson in a Chevy Cruze.
