A former Columbus township trustee is facing charges for allegedly stealing more than $1 million from Columbus Township.
Benjamin Jackson is charged with nine counts, each of theft and official misconduct.
He took over as Columbus Township Trustee in 2016, representing the city of Columbus in Bartholomew County.
