Day care is mostly fun and games, but the money parents spend for it is not.
Early Learning Indiana said Indiana has less than two-thirds of childcare resources needed in the state creating childcare deserts. ELI said the average cost of childcare for one child is, on average, $8,600 for Hoosiers.
