IMPD officers arrested a 20-year-old for his alleged role in a deadly shooting near Eagle Creek Park on the Fourth of July. Around 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 4, officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 7600 block of Lafayette Road, near Interstate 65 and West 79th Street on the city's northwest side. Officers arrived and found two men who had been shot near Eagle Creek's bank.
