Description
A nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting Florida wildlife has filed a petition against the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission over the recent approval of the state's first black bear hunt in a decade.
Last week, FWC commissioners unanimously approved a 23-day black bear hunting season beginning in December, the state's first since 2015. The hunting season was approved under a new rule and set up the chance for more hunting seasons in the coming years. https://www.wtsp.com/article/news/regional/florida/florida-conservation-nonprofit-sues-fwc-black-bear-hunt/77-44a0a947-9ac8-4363-91a3-1070bfee8b06
