Description
A 21-year-old man is in jail, serving a two-year sentence after causing a car crash that left three people dead on the east side of Indianapolis in September 2023.
Now, the grandmother of one of the people killed in that crash says she believes the sentence was too short.
"My first words were 'is that all he got for killing three people?'" Brenda Hankins said. "I said, 'That's not justice. That's not justice at all. That's a slap on the hand.'"
On Oct 3, Luis Leyba-Gonzalez was sentenced to only two years behind bars by the judge.
