A Fort Wayne police officer was wounded in a stabbing Monday evening while responding to a reported domestic disturbance. Officers responded to the report in the 2100 block of St. Marys Avenue just before 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22. According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, while officers were investigating the disturbance, an altercation broke out between an individual and one of the officers.
