Two Republican City-County councilors are leading a new charge to stop an AES rate hike.
It's a battle over utility bills, and Councilors Michael Paul Hart (R-District 20) and Josh Bain (R-District 21) are joining the fight. They just introduced a resolution urging AES to reconsider the proposal to raise its rates.
