Two people were injured in a shooting on the east side of Indianapolis early Tuesday. IMPD officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 2100 block of North Riley Avenue, near East 21st Street and Emerson Avenue, around 12:30 a.m. Sept. 9. At the scene, the officers located two male victims who had apparently been shot.
