IMPD is investigating a deadly shooting Saturday night on Indy's far east side. According to IMPD, around 10:55 p.m. on Sept. 6, officers were called to the 3900 block of Delmont Drive, near East 42nd Street and North Mitthoefer Road, on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they found one person with gunshot injuries. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
