Flooding brought on by heavy rainfall prompted new evacuations in Pagosa Springs on Monday after causing extensive damage in the town and in nearby La Plata County over the past few days. Since the flooding started early Saturday morning, 90 homes have been damaged in the Vallecito Reservoir area of La Plata County. Some have up to two feet of water inside.
