The City of Denver is planning to ramp up its photo radar enforcement across the city in 2026 as part of an effort to slow speeders and put a small dent in the city's budget shortfall. In Mayor Mike Johnston's proposed 2026 city budget, Johnston suggests a few different avenues to create revenue. That includes generating $2.2 million through traffic enforcement, with $610,000 created through increased photo enforcement.
