The Rio Blanco Sheriff's Office said the Lee Fire had jumped Highway 13 on Wednesday as it continued to rapidly grow. The fire's spread forced officials to put the entire town of Meeker on "set" status. There are a number of wildfires burning in Colorado, with the Western Slope seeing a majority of fire activity due to severe and extreme drought conditions persisting through most of that part of the state.
