After nearly 50 years, Arthur Hardy, the longtime voice of New Orleans Mardi Gras, is retiring after Carnival 2026.
He launched the iconic Mardi Gras Guide magazine in 1977 with his wife, Susan, turning it into a must-have for parade-goers.
Hardy is finishing the 50th anniversary edition, and his career will be celebrated with a WYES documentary and a coffee table book of all 50 covers.
