Description
Tropical Storm Fernand continues to move farther away in the north central Atlantic Ocean. The storm is moving northeast away from any land, and will no longer be tracked by the National Hurricane Center after Thursday.
A new spot has popped up in the distant eastern Atlantic Ocean near Africa. This spot has a low chance of development and will be watched in the long-term. Models don't indicate much growth with this system at this point.
