Rescue workers clear up debris from damaged buildings in Kyiv following a massive overnight missile and drone strike just as negotiators try to hammer out a possible proposal to end the nearly four-year war. The strikes killed seven people, heavily damaged apartment buildings and forced locals to shelter in their bathrooms, basements and metro stations for hours. "The smoke entered the apartment very quickly," Alla Gorbachova, a resident who escaped from one of the burning buildings, tells AFP. "Then we heard men's voices... and our front door opened.
